Lights on?

As he pulled up in front of the restaurant, Jack couldn't help but feel a sense of pride in his gleaming gold Ferrari 360 Modena. He had always dreamed of owning a Ferrari, and after years of hard work, he had finally made it happen.

As he parked the car, Jack couldn't help but notice the admiring glances from the people passing by. He grinned to himself, feeling like the king of the world.

As Jack and his girlfriend, Sarah, walked into the restaurant, the maitre d' greeted them with a smile. During dinner, Jack and Sarah enjoyed a delicious meal, chatting and laughing as they caught up on each other's lives. But just as they were finishing their dessert, a woman's voice suddenly cut through the restaurant.

"Excuse me, is anyone here the owner of the gold Ferrari outside? You've left your lights on!"

Jack's heart sank as he realized that the beautiful car he loved so much was in danger of having a dead battery. He quickly excused himself from the table and made his way outside.

As he walked up to his car, he saw that the lights were indeed still on. But to his surprise, there was a young woman standing by the car, looking concerned.

"Is this your car?" she asked, looking up at Jack with wide eyes.

"Yeah, it is," Jack replied, feeling a little embarrassed.

"Well, I didn't want it to get a dead battery, so I waited here in case the owner came back," the woman said, smiling at Jack. "I hope that's okay."

Jack couldn't help but feel grateful for the stranger's kindness. "Thank you so much," he said, feeling a little ashamed that he had been so careless.

As Jack turned to leave, the woman called out after him. "Hey, do you want to grab a drink sometime? Here's my number."

Jack was taken aback but flattered by the woman's boldness. He took the piece of paper with her number and smiled, feeling a little thrill of excitement at the unexpected turn of events.

As he walked back into the restaurant, Sarah raised an eyebrow at him. "What was that all about?" she asked.

Jack grinned at her. "Just a random act of kindness and a new phone number," he said, feeling like the luckiest man in the world.

The rest of the night flew by in a blur of laughter and happiness. Jack couldn't stop thinking about the woman waiting by his car and the possibilities that lay ahead.

As he drove away from the restaurant, he couldn't help but feel like the world was full of surprises and unexpected joys. And he knew that he would always remember the night he parked his gold Ferrari outside that little restaurant, and a stranger's kindness led to a chance encounter that changed everything.
